We have signed an agreement with the State Office for Nuclear Safety

Preparation, research, development, and operation of a deep geological repository are essential for our safety as well as the safety of future generations. At the same time, it is a unique project, and therefore we need to thoroughly prepare and consult all steps before submitting any permit application. For this reason, we have signed a cooperation agreement with the State Office for Nuclear Safety, the central administrative authority in the field of nuclear energy use.

Thanks to this agreement, we can easily consult the conceptual and safety aspects of all phases of the deep repository preparation or share information about activities in international projects. The State Office for Nuclear Safety will also participate as an observer in expert bodies, such as the Advisory Panel of Experts.
